I loaded a 9mm round with no gun powder in the round. Cocked the gun and is now jammed. I tried to disassemble the gun, but everything i do does not work. I cant cock the gun back either. Does anyone know how i can get the bullet out?? Please Help!! Thank you. yes, it was a bullet with a casing with no powder (100% sure) but i dont think the rod is working. i cant even field strip it I FIXED IT!!! i could not cock the slide back, so i pried open with a screw driver and then finally it released the slide, and i was able to pull the bullet out. turns out the casing had expanded because it was a fired round. lol i know i know, ima idiot. thanks for all your help guys! poice!

Thye best advice I can give you is to tell you to take it to your local gunsmith. If you keep fiddling wiht it, you could damage something and then it will cost more to fix it than it will to get it unjammed.

try cocking it back and holding and you might be able to see it down the cyylinder but dont take me all the way seriosly cause im not a professional

god, the beretta is notorious for jamming. that's why all the military forces are switching to the Glock. If you've dissasembeled it and everything and it's not unjamming, call your local gun shop. most the people i know will be more than helpful.

do you mean that you put a bullet in the case without powder, then the bullet was too long. take a wooden dowel rod and go down the muzzle and gently tap the bullet back into the case. are you 100 % sure that there was NO powder in the case. BE carefull, Be carefull

I'm with bubba. The primer wasn't enough energy to push the slug all the way out of the case and now you've jammed it up good with an overlength round. Clamp it, muzzle up put a wooden dowel down the barrel and try to tap the slug back into the case. Dude, you need a gunsmith.

go in threw the barrel and push it out,or use a good old needle nose plier

That is something I would have to see; I have no idea what the problem is. My suggestion, take it to a gunsmith. That's the best and safest thing to do.

I think when the round chambered the bullet may have been set back in the case. Remeber, with out the powder there is a lot of room in that case/Then the primer went off, it detonated the case in the chamber. Call Berretta and arrange to have them repair it.
