| | By Yahoo Answers | | 2008-03-21 20:08:55 | | i have recently bought a 92fs and i am looking to use it for competitions. what if any upgrades are to be done to make it a more accurate(already good) and reliable gun? better trigger, barrel, sights, etc? | | Answered By: falphil | |

Not many people use that gun in competition, so the AMU is the way to go. I can't remember the name of the manufacturer of these barrels, and they make an already odd looking gun even odder, but they are absolutely fantastic when it comes to accuracy. Couple that with a trigger job and an extended mag release and you have yourself the Army Marksmanship Unit's competition pistol. I can promise you the armorers at Ft. Benning make the most competition friendly 92 in the World.

Your grip on the pistol should always be the same when you shoot competition. The finger grooves will help you to hold it the same each time or nearly so. A very good feeling grip helps you shoot a little better regardless of how well the barrel works. It might be a mind thing but it is real none the less. | | |
